The London College of Fashion’s Fashion Space Gallery is currently exhibiting Don’t Stop Now: Fashion Photography Next Part 2 exploring the contrasting themes of Authenticity and Artifice.
“Central to this presentation is an idea of contrast between the two positions, but at the same time a suggestion that divisions of either ‘fantasy’ or ‘fact’ are often not simplistic or clear-cut in contemporary practice. Both approaches have particular sytlistic characteristics, which can be used progressively and originally, but also refer to well-trodden historical traditions in fashion photography.” Magdalene Keaney
Don’t Stop Now: Fashion Photography Next Part 2 is free to view until tomorrow. If you happen to be in Central London, I definitely recommend popping in to check it out.
I’m really enjoying the flashing girl pic! It’s somehow amazing to me. Actually, all these images are. Damn, why couldn’t I live in London so we could go check this out together????

I find there is something quite spontaneous about it, which is a little ironic being that it IS still photography. It’s so cheeky. I was the only person at the exhibition yesterday. It was amazing. When you live in such a densely populated place, times like that are a real treasure.
